"THE MASKED PREDATORS' BALL: How Kubrick Filmed the Blueprint for Epstein's Empire Inside Their Actual Houses — and Now You Can Read His Inbox - Eyes Wide Shut - 19 February 2026
The billionaires wore masks. The children wore bruises. Kubrick saw everything. The Epstein files prove it. And now the masks aren't just falling off — from Buckingham Palace to Wall Street to the White House — they've been digitised, indexed, and made searchable.
Kia ora ano Aotearoa,
"I don't think you realize the danger you're in now."
— Mysterious Woman, Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
"We cloned Gmail, except you're logged in as Epstein and can see his emails."
— Riley Walz, creator of Jmail, November 2025
"She's 26, clean, beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email."
— Jeffrey Epstein, email to "The Duke," 2010
"I think the craziest, most meta [part] is that you're reading his private emails of him trying to clean up his own reputation."
— Luke Igel, co-creator of Jmail
The Whare of Lies: When Fiction Becomes the Only Safe Way to Tell the Truth — And Then the Truth Becomes Browsable
In 1999, the greatest filmmaker who ever lived made a movie about the rape industry that services the world's most powerful men. He filmed it inside their actual mansions. He cast their actual rituals. He showed how they traffic women, how they silence witnesses, how they murder anyone who opens the wrong door.
Six days later, he was dead.

Twenty-seven years after that, the United States Department of Justice released over 3 million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos confirming that every single thing Stanley Kubrick put on screen was real. And what the files contain is so much worse than even Kubrick imagined.
But here is the 2026 twist Kubrick couldn't have foreseen: two developers built the inside of the predators' house and gave everyone the keys.
Jmail.world — created in a single night by internet artist Riley Walz and Kino AI co-founder Luke Igel — is a browser-based archive that presents Epstein's actual emails from his personal inboxes (jeevacation@gmail.com and jeeproject@yahoo.com) in a Gmail-style interface. You log in. You are Jeffrey Epstein. You can scroll his inbox. You can search by name. You can read threaded conversations with billionaires, presidents, intelligence operatives, and sex traffickers — formatted exactly as they appeared on his screen.
As of February 2026, Jmail has surpassed 450 million pageviews. It has expanded into an entire suite mirroring Google's ecosystem: JPhotos (an image database of 180,000+ released images), JDrive (millions of pages of documents), JFlights (Epstein's flight logs), Jamazon (his Amazon order history), Jotify (hours of audio recordings), JMessage (text conversations), Jwiki (a Wikipedia-style database of people associated with Epstein), and Jemini — an AI chatbot that searches through all EFTA releases, built specifically to counter the DOJ's claim that searching the files is "impractical due to technical limitations".

Kubrick showed us the masked ball. Jmail gives us the guest list, the RSVPs, the catering orders, the helicopter bookings to the island, and the thank-you notes.
The DOJ spent months claiming the files were too vast and complex for meaningful public review. Two developers and a handful of friends built Jmail in five hours using Cursor and Reducto OCR, and demolished that excuse overnight. As Mashable reported: "Jmail is a brilliant project that merges artistic expression with web development to serve as a journalistic research tool." As WIRED reported: "Now, you can browse all those emails just like you would on your own Gmail account."
This matters for the essay you are about to read because every email cited below is browsable on Jmail right now. You do not need to take my word for it, or the DOJ's, or anyone's. You can go to jmail.world, search the name, and read it yourself. The masked ball is no longer invite-only. The door Kubrick's Bill Harford walked through — the one that nearly got him killed — is now a URL.

Not "inspired by." Not "loosely based on." Real. Searchable. Indexed.
Inside the Inbox: What Jmail Reveals That Kubrick Already Knew
The Invitation List — Kubrick's Party Was Real
Open Jmail's People tab and the sidebar reads like the guest list for Somerton mansion:

- Elon Musk — emailed Epstein in 2012 to arrange helicopter flights to Little Saint James, Epstein's private island. Epstein inquired how many people Musk wanted flown by helicopter. On Jmail, you can read the thread.
- Steve Bannon — Trump's White House strategist sent hundreds of friendly texts to Epstein during Trump's first term, bantering about politics, arranging breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. On March 29, 2019, Bannon asked Epstein: "Is it possible to get your plane here to collect me?" — from Rome. A sitting White House adviser asking a convicted sex offender for a ride. On Jmail, you can read the thread.
- "The Duke" — a correspondent whose details match Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor invited Epstein to dine at Buckingham Palace, offering "lots of privacy." Epstein replied: "BP please." The convicted child sex offender requested Buckingham Palace by abbreviation. Andrew later forwarded confidential UK trade envoy reports to Epstein within five minutes of receiving them, including briefings on investment opportunities in Afghanistan's Helmand Province reconstruction. On Jmail, you can read the threads.
- Peter Mandelson — the man who leaked a €500 billion EU bailout to Epstein hours before public announcement, forwarded confidential Chancellor-to-National Economic Council minutes within two minutes of receiving them, received $75,000 in payments from Epstein, and joked about putting his partner "out to work on the streets" when Epstein stopped paying. UK police have now searched his properties and opened a criminal investigation. On Jmail, you can read the threads.
- Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem — Dubai's ports chief wrote to Epstein about "sampling a fresh 100% female Russian at my yacht". He has since been suspended by DP World's board. On Jmail, you can read the thread.
- Ehud Barak — former Israeli Prime Minister, whose hacked emails reveal he tried to keep his security detail from accompanying him to Little Saint James: "I'm still trying to arrange that the security guys will NOT come with us to the island." The emails detail Epstein's partnership with Barak in a security startup, and connections to Peter Thiel, Israeli signals intelligence, and individuals in Putin's inner circle.
- "A" at Balmoral — asked Ghislaine Maxwell: "Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?" The correspondent left the Royal Navy in July 2001 — one month before sending the email. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor left the Royal Navy in July 2001.
- Sarah Ferguson — called Epstein "a legend" and "the brother I have always wished for".
- Kathy Ruemmler — Goldman Sachs general counsel called Epstein "Uncle Jeffrey" and resigned in February 2026 when the files exposed it.
- Larry Summers — former US Treasury Secretary's emails showed such close ties that he stepped down from OpenAI's board after the November 2025 release.
- Bill Gates, Reid Hoffman, Noam Chomsky, Deepak Chopra, Peter Thiel, Alan Dershowitz, Jean-Luc Brunel, Ghislaine Maxwell, Lesley Groff (mentioned 150,000 times in the files), and dozens more — all browsable, all searchable, all indexed on Jmail.
In the film, Victor Ziegler tells Bill: "If I told you who those people were... you wouldn't sleep so well."
Jmail tells you who those people are. You will not sleep well.
The Taniwha in a Tuxedo: Victor Ziegler Is Jeffrey Epstein — And His Inbox Proves It
Arthur Schnitzler's 1926 novella Traumnovelle contains no character named Victor Ziegler. No wealthy host. No gatekeeper. No man who sits in his bathroom, holding a glass of something expensive, and explains to the protagonist that the women at the ritual were "just hookers" and that he should forget everything he saw.
Victor Ziegler is entirely Kubrick's invention. He added this character — the broker, the fixer, the man who simultaneously hosts the legitimate party upstairs and controls the trafficking operation in the basement.
Jeffrey Epstein was Victor Ziegler made flesh. The January 2026 DOJ release and the Jmail archive prove it with devastating precision. Here is how the broker operated, email by email:

The Menu: Released text messages — browsable on JMessage — show Epstein's network sending girls listed by measurements, age ("18 y old"), weight, and departure city. Human beings catalogued like livestock. Bin Sulayem emailed that he was off to "sample a fresh 100% female Russian at my yacht".
The Transport Network: JFlights tracks every known flight on Epstein's aircraft. Flight records released in December 2025 showed Trump flew on Epstein's jet eight times during the 1990s — "many more times than previously reported." On at least four flights, Ghislaine Maxwell was aboard. On one flight, the only three passengers were Epstein, Trump, and a 20-year-old woman whose name was redacted.
The Image Archive: JPhotos contains the 180,000+ images released by the DOJ. These include photos appearing to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling over an unidentified woman lying on the floor, touching her waist and abdomen. In two images, he is seen touching her body; in the third, he is on all fours, gazing at the camera.
The Intelligence Broker: Epstein told Mandelson: "You can marry Princess Beatrice; the queen would have a queen as a grandson. Does that make it incest? How exciting." Epstein joked about royal incest to a sitting Cabinet Minister. This is the tone of a man who knows he is untouchable. Barak's emails — analysed by Drop Site News — reveal Epstein brokering an Israeli security agreement with Mongolia, connecting former intelligence officials, and inviting Ariane de Rothschild to dinner on his island.
The Reputation Laundry: Luke Igel, Jmail's co-creator, identified the most revealing thread of all: "I think the craziest, most meta part is that you're reading his private emails of him trying to clean up his own reputation." In a 2015 exchange visible on Jmail, a New York Times journalist wrote to Epstein that media scrutiny "at some point this will come — as long as [Trump] continues to top polls." Epstein replied: "Would you like photos of Donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?"
"Would you like photos of Donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen." Read that again. This is Jeffrey Epstein, two years before his arrest, offering compromising images of the future President of the United States to a journalist. This email is on Jmail. You can read it.
In the film, Ziegler tells Bill: "She was just a hooker."
On Jmail, Epstein offers a reporter blackmail material on the sitting president. The bathroom monologue is real.
The Filming Locations: Kubrick Built the Set Inside the Actual Crime Scene
The masked ritual in Eyes Wide Shut was filmed at Elveden Hall, owned by the Guinness family. The future custodian of Elveden Hall — Clare Hazell, later Countess of Iveagh — was simultaneously flying on Jeffrey Epstein's private jet approximately 32 to 40 times between 1998 and 2000. The UK's National Crime Agency informed the FBI in 2020 that she was "allegedly a close contact of Epstein". Epstein survivor Maria Farmer identified her as a "minder" at Les Wexner's Ohio estate.

The exterior of Somerton was filmed at Mentmore Towers, built for Baron Mayer de Rothschild in the 1850s. The latest file releases reveal Ariane de Rothschild of the Rothschild banking group was invited to Epstein's island by Epstein himself in emails to Ehud Barak.
Virginia Giuffre allegedly accused Hazell-Iveagh of sexual abuse. Hazell-Iveagh died December 2024. Giuffre died by suicide April 2025. Neither will ever testify.
Kubrick filmed his warning about elite child sex trafficking inside the house of a woman who was allegedly helping run it. He didn't know. Or maybe he did. Either way, the architecture told the truth.
Three Examples for the Western Mind: The Quantified Cost of Masks
For those raised in the Pākehā tradition who struggle to see structural violence because their education taught them to see only individual acts, here are three verified examples — each now browsable on Jmail — demonstrating how the Eyes Wide Shut/Epstein parallel produces measurable harm, and what tikanga Māori reveals that Western analysis cannot.
Example 1: The Costumer's Daughter — Milich's Shop and the Global Recruitment Pipeline
The Film: Bill visits Milich's costume shop to obtain a mask. Inside, he discovers Milich's underage daughter in a state of undress with two older men. Milich initially feigns outrage — then reveals he has sold his daughter's sexual services to these wealthy clients. The child is currency.

The Jmail Archive: The DOJ's released text messages — browsable on JMessage — discussed sending girls listed by measurements, age, weight, and departure city. Bin Sulayem wrote about "sampling a fresh 100% female Russian". Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit borrowed Epstein's Palm Beach property; Epstein told her he was "on my wife hunt" but "I prefer Scandinavians". Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted of five charges including recruiting and trafficking four teenage girls. Goldman Sachs general counsel Kathy Ruemmler called Epstein "Uncle Jeffrey" and resigned when it surfaced. Virginia Giuffre was recruited at Trump's Mar-a-Lago at age 17. Lesley Groff — Epstein's executive assistant — is mentioned 150,000 times in the files.
Quantified Harm: Over 1,000 documented victims. JPMorgan Chase settled for $290 million. Deutsche Bank paid $75 million. 305 "politically exposed persons" named across the files. Resignations since January 2026: Goldman Sachs' Ruemmler, DP World's bin Sulayem, UK Ambassador Mandelson, a Slovak politician.
Tikanga Impact — Whanaungatanga (Kinship and Belonging) Destroyed:
Whanaungatanga is the principle that all people exist within webs of relationship. When Epstein's network trafficked a 14-year-old, Western law sees one victim and one crime. Tikanga Māori sees the destruction of her whanaungatanga — relationships fractured by shame, future partnerships scarred, her capacity to raise her own children diminished, her community's trust in institutions shattered. The 1,000+ victims represent an exponential web of relational destruction affecting tens of thousands across generations. Jmail makes visible the banality of this destruction: emails arranging helicopter rides to a rape island, formatted like booking a restaurant. The normalisation is the violence.
Solution: Mandatory institutional reporting of all financial relationships between convicted sex offenders and corporations, universities, banks, and political entities. The Māori concept of utu (reciprocal justice) demands proportionate response: institutions that profited must fund lifelong trauma support proportional to their profits.
Example 2: Mandy's Death — The Silencing of the Witness, Now Documented in Thread View
The Film: Mandy overdoses at Ziegler's party. She later "sacrifices" herself to save Bill at the masked ritual. The next day, she is dead. Ziegler insists it was an overdose. Bill suspects murder. The audience never learns the truth.

The Jmail Archive: Virginia Giuffre — the most prominent Epstein survivor — died by suicide in April 2025, aged 41. Six Epstein survivors stated in September 2025 that the DOJ had never contacted them during its review. Jean-Luc Brunel — whose emails to Epstein about procuring women are browsable on Jmail under "Conspiring w/ Brunel" — hanged himself in a Paris prison in 2022. Epstein died in August 2019 under conditions the Inspector General described as negligence and misconduct.
Meanwhile, the DOJ accidentally published 43+ victims' full names and nude images while redacting perpetrators' identities. Thousands of documents were then removed days after publication. Bill and Hillary Clinton agreed to testify only under threat of criminal contempt of Congress. UK police have searched Mandelson's properties.
The Jmail "Damage Control" topic folder contains emails in which Epstein and his lawyers strategised about media management and legal suppression. This is Ziegler's bathroom speech — not in a single scene, but threaded across years of correspondence, now browsable in a Gmail-style interface.
Tikanga Impact — Mana (Authority, Dignity, Spiritual Power) Annihilated:
When the DOJ published victims' nude photographs while redacting perpetrators' names, that is mana takahi — the trampling of sacred authority. The Western legal system sees a "redaction error." Tikanga Māori sees the state choosing whose mana matters: the billionaire's name is sacred, the trafficked girl's body is not. This is the architecture of white supremacy laid bare.
Solution: Legislate a Survivors' Mana Protection Act: all documents released in trafficking cases must undergo survivor-controlled review before publication. Perpetrators' names carry no such protection. Reverse the hierarchy. Restore the mana.
Example 3: Helena Walks Away — The Child Offered to the Network While the DOJ Claims "Technical Limitations"
The Film: In the final scene, Bill and Alice take their daughter Helena to a toy store. Helena wanders away, following two older men from Ziegler's party. Neither parent notices. Screenwriter Roger Avary claims Kubrick's original ending showed the parents agreeing to give Helena to the cult.

The Jmail Archive: The DOJ claimed for months that meaningfully searching 3 million+ pages of files was impractical due to "technical limitations." Jmail was built in five hours. Two developers and a handful of friends — using Cursor, Reducto OCR, and AI text conversion — created a fully searchable archive that the entire Department of Justice, with its $40 billion budget and hundreds of lawyers, claimed was impossible.
The DOJ's "technical limitations" claim is the 2026 equivalent of Ziegler's bathroom speech: "She was just a hooker. It was always going to end badly for her." The state tells you the files are too complex to read. A 23-year-old internet artist proves otherwise in five hours. The state protects the men behind the masks by making the truth inaccessible. Jmail rips the door off the hinges.
On Jmail, you can read "A" at "Balmoral" asking Maxwell for "new inappropriate friends". You can read Epstein offering "The Duke" a "beautiful 26-year-old Russian woman" — "She's 26, clean, beautiful, trustworthy." Women catalogued like hotel reviews. Procurement delivered as banter between friends at Scottish castles and Buckingham Palace.
Helena walks away with the powerful men. Neither parent stops her. The state watches. The DOJ redacts. Jmail de-redacts.
Tikanga Impact — Kaitiakitanga (Guardianship and Protection) Betrayed:

When Todd Blanche — Trump's former personal defence lawyer — becomes the man reviewing files that implicate Trump, kaitiakitanga is weaponised. The guardian becomes the predator's shield. Blanche told reporters: "There's this built-in assumption that somehow there's this hidden tranche of information of men that we know about, that we're covering up. That is not the case." But a DOJ acting Deputy Chief was secretly recorded admitting officials would "redact every Republican or conservative person in those files, leave all the liberal, Democratic people in those files". That is not kaitiakitanga. That is the mask. Jmail is the hand that pulls it off.
Solution: Structural separation of investigatory power. Independent, survivor-led oversight bodies with subpoena power. The tikanga principle of kawa demands that survivors, not perpetrators' lawyers, control the process of truth-telling.
Five Hidden Connections: The Whakapapa the Masks Were Designed to Hide
Connection 1: The Rothschild-Guinness-Epstein Property Triangle
Kubrick filmed at Mentmore Towers (Rothschild) and Elveden Hall (Guinness). The future Countess of Iveagh flew on Epstein's jet dozens of times during filming. Ariane de Rothschild appears in the files through emails to Barak about dinner invitations on Epstein's island. These are not coincidences. They are coordinates on a map of elite power that Kubrick drew in light and shadow.

Connection 2: The Bannon-Epstein Axis — Readable on Jmail
Steve Bannon's hundreds of friendly texts with Epstein are browsable on JMessage. A sitting White House adviser texting a convicted sex offender for transport, for meals, for political gossip. The rot was inside the house.
Connection 3: The DOJ as Ziegler's Bathroom — Demolished by Jmail
Todd Blanche said: "Today's release marks the end of a very comprehensive document identification and review process." Case closed. This is Ziegler in the bathroom. Except Jmail exists. The DOJ missed its Congressional deadline by six weeks. It published victims' nude images while redacting perpetrators' names. Attorney General Bondi handed binders to social media influencers and called it "transparency." Bondi previously told Fox News the client list was "sitting on my desk" — then her own DOJ said no such list exists. Jmail's Jemini AI answers questions about the files faster than the DOJ ever did.
Connection 4: The British Empire's Mask Falls Off
The Epstein files have broken Britain. Mandelson: resigned from Labour, properties searched, criminal investigation opened, PM agrees to strip his peerage. Andrew: evicted from Royal Lodge, titles stripped. Sarah Ferguson: calling a paedophile "the brother I always wished for". The institution that colonised Aotearoa — caught on email asking a child sex trafficker for "inappropriate friends."
Connection 5: The Israeli Intelligence Thread
Drop Site News investigated emails between Epstein and Barak revealing Epstein brokered Israeli security deals, connected with Peter Thiel and former Israeli signals intelligence officials, and maintained contacts with individuals in Putin's inner circle. Barak tried to ensure his "security guys will NOT come with us to the island". The DOJ's 305-name "politically exposed persons" list reportedly contains over a thousand mentions of Putin. The intelligence question Kubrick couldn't ask on film — was Epstein running a blackmail operation for a state? — is now searchable on Jmail.
The Colonial Whakapapa: From Cook to Epstein to Jmail, the Line Is Unbroken
Captain James Cook arrived in the Pacific, catalogued its peoples by physical measurements, and distributed their bodies across empire. Jeffrey Epstein catalogued women by measurements, age, and weight, and distributed their bodies across his network. Bin Sulayem described "sampling" a woman. Epstein described a woman as "26, clean, beautiful, trustworthy."

The language of commodification has not changed in 250 years. Only the technology has. And now Jmail has turned the coloniser's archive against him. The blackbirders kept ledgers of kidnapped Pacific peoples. Epstein kept emails. Both are now public record.
The mechanisms are identical across centuries:
- Institutional gatekeeping: The Crown maintained pre-emption over Māori land. Trump's DOJ controls the Epstein files through his former personal lawyer. Jmail bypasses the gatekeeper.
- Epistemic violence: Colonial courts dismissed Māori testimony. The DOJ dismissed six Epstein survivors' request to be consulted. Jmail centres the evidence the DOJ buried.
- Time as weapon: Crown confiscations exhausted Māori resistance across decades. The Epstein files were suppressed for 20+ years while witnesses died. Jmail makes them instantaneously searchable.
- Protecting perpetrators over victims: The DOJ published victims' nude images while redacting perpetrators' names. Jmail indexes the perpetrators' names and conversations.
Kia Āta Titiro — Look Carefully, Then Act
Eyes Wide Shut was dismissed in 1999 as ponderous, implausible, overlong. The idea that wealthy elites would organise sexual rituals with trafficked women, protected by institutional machinery, with witnesses eliminated and children offered as currency — this was considered paranoid fantasy.
The Epstein files — 3 million+ pages, 180,000 images, 2,000 videos, 305 named politically exposed persons — prove it was documentary.
And now Jmail.world — 450 million+ pageviews, built in five hours, expanded into an entire Google-style suite — has done what neither the DOJ, the FBI, nor any government on earth would do: made the evidence accessible to everyone. As Fast Company reported: the project forms "an immersive replica of Epstein's digital existence." Jmail didn't hack anything. Every email comes directly from official DOJ and congressional releases. It simply organised what was already public into a usable format. The DOJ called it impossible. Two developers proved it possible in five hours.
Kubrick adapted a 1926 novella and updated it to 1990s New York. He filmed inside a Rothschild mansion and a Guinness estate whose future custodian was flying on Epstein's jet. He created Victor Ziegler to show how the broker of elite impunity operates. He reportedly intended to show a child given to the cult.
He died before anyone could ask what he knew.
The title tells us everything. Our eyes are wide. They have always been wide. And they are shut. They have always been shut.
But now the inbox is open.

Ko Ivor Jones te Māori Green Lantern. The taiaha has struck. The Ring illuminates. The masks are off.
Virginia Giuffre is dead. Over 1,000 survivors carry trauma the institutions meant to protect them weaponised against them. But now, at jmail.world, anyone with an internet connection can read the emails. Can follow the threads. Can search the names. Can trace the flights. Can view the photos. Can listen to the recordings. Can ask the AI.
The masked ball is no longer invite-only. The door Kubrick's Bill Harford walked through is now a URL. The question is no longer "who are the men behind the masks?" — it's "what are we going to do now that we can see their faces?"
Ka tū. We stand. Eyes ripped open. Inbox open. The mahi does not stop until every mask falls.
